世界中の人々に読まれ、映画としても大ヒットした「ハリーポッター」はディズニー映画同様子供から大人の心にまでぐっとくる名言＆名セリフの宝庫です。「ハリーポッター」はディズニーよりは英文にするとセリフの難易度が高く、考えさせられる言葉も多いです。
１、If you want to know what a man’s like, take a good like at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.
その人間の人となりを知りたければ、 同等の人じゃなく、 目下の人を彼がどう扱うかをよく観察するんだ。
inferiorには「下等」、equalには「同等」という意味があります。

善と悪なんてないんだ。あるのは権力と弱すぎてそれを手に入れられない者だけだ。
too＋形容詞 to ＋動詞は「～すぎて～できない」という表現です。
